Celebrate Halloween Safely at Pennhurst Asylum during our First Ever Family-Friendly Trick or Treating Event. Our goal is to provide a health conscious environment for children to celebrate Halloween during this unusual year. We are aware some communities may not be allowing trick or treaters to go door to door. Some parents may be concerned regarding the households on which their children will be ringing doorbells. We at Pennhurst wanted to give our community another option this Halloween.
Trick or Treaters and their families will be welcomed at our Health and Security Check Point where they will be guided to our first Candy Stop. Guests will then follow our catwalks to 18 candy stops, each of which will be manned by Pennhurst staff member in kid-friendly costumes. Candy stations will be equipped allergy-free options.
Tickets are for Trick or Treaters ONLY. Children 12 and under must be in Costume to redeem their tickets. Adult Guardians must accompany Trick or Treaters at all times.
Time slots are capped to allow for Social Distancing as part of our COVID precautions. For everyone's safety, masks and face coverings are required for all attendees. Treats will be set out individually for trick or treaters to take so as not to have many hands in candy bowls. Candy Stations will be furnished with sanitizer. Candy Staff will be wearing KN95 masks and gloves.
This is a family-friendly event. Our monsters will not be acting nor scaring our guests. Guests must remain on the pre-determined Trick or Treater path at all times or risk being escorted back to their car. Maximum two adults per trick or treater.
